The end result of this project will be 10 postcards. The subject will be based on the theme of souvenirs which is defined as a thing kept by someone to remind them of a person, place or event. Postcards are very personal pieces because of their size. They only allow one or two people to view it at a time which gives it a different way of perceiving the message of the image. However if your image is against a wall with several other pieces of work, it needs to stand out a catch the audiences attention.
A souvenir can also be text. It might be something that was said or written that was recorded and used by the practitioner.
I really want my images to stand out against other images so I will have to experiment with techniques that I have never used before which might include safety precautions that I haven't had to consider before.
